Battlefield 1942 - Now free-to-play

Hi guys

I recently discovered that the first battlefield, ´Battlefield 1942`, is free to play - Download free from Origin (EA's platform, works like Steam)

The reason its free to play now, is because it was released in 2002, 10 years ago - 10 year anniversary.

I installed it right away, doesnt need much space and takes like 5-10 min to download and install full game.

I think its fun to play again and I was surprised that thousands of people is still playing it - (Lot of new activity since its free to play)

So if you like world war II theme in general, (Like 1942 RP) this is a game you should pick up!

Hope some of you reading this found this usefull and will try it out!

I bought it a long time ago for my ps3, I love it, ill probably download it when I get home. Does it require you to download Orgin aswell?

Yes. When you push "download" on link, it will automaticly open or intall Origin and then download it via Origin.

Oh god after 10 yrs of buying the game over and over because I could never keep the discs safe it's finally free, now just gotta wait for the mod devs to work on them again to make it work with the f2p.

The game is so epic made. Hope DICE / EA will make a remake of this game.
